Travelers who have “been there, done that” may want to check out the two-year, around-the-world vacation being offered on British luxury website, , which promises a trip to all 962 .
Touted as the world’s most expensive vacation package at £990,000 (approximately $1.5 million), the website’s “Every Heritage Site in One Holiday” offer takes travelers through 157 countries, and includes stops at the Taj Mahal in India, Cambodia’s Angkor temples, Alhambra in Spain, Machu Picchu in Peru, and Petra in Jordan, among many other sites.
Organized by luxury travel agency Hurlingham Travel, the trip includes all overland travel, business-class flights, and stays at luxury hotels such as the Hotel George V in Paris, The Plaza in New York and the Cipriani Hotel in Venice. The price tag also includes a £5,000 (around $7,500) donation to UNESCO.
