Winter Storm Octavia: When Will Your City Get Hit?

Winter Storm Octavia is unloading snow and ice along a broad west-to-east swath from the nation's heartland to the Mid-Atlantic coast early this week.

This is creating hazardous winter driving conditions on several major highways. Below are some timetables to keep you informed of what's ahead for major cities affected by the storm.

The charts show our forecast starting at the top of the next hour from now, and every three hours after that for the next 12 hours. Sustained winds, air temperatures and precipitation or sky conditions are shown.

First, let's take a look at the Interstate 40 corridor from Arkansas to western North Carolina. (Additional North Carolina cities are in the I-85 table below.)
