Winter Storm Lexi: One Dead, Thousands Without Power

Winter Storm Lexi began delivering a quick-hitting stripe of snow from the coastal mid-Atlantic into southern and eastern New England Friday, causing early morning travel issues for commuters and taking at least one life

A six-year-old child died after a being hit by a falling tree limb in the backyard of her family's home in Canton, Massachusetts. Medical crews arrived on the scene shortly before 2 p.m. and reported that the child still had a pulse. , according to Fox 25. Police urged parents all throughout Massachusettsto keep their children indoors as heavy snow and ice caused tree limbs to fall all throughout the day Friday.
