Winter Storm Euclid: Storm Reports, Recap

Winter StormEuclid dumped a swath of heavy snow from California's Sierra to the Northeast during the Christmas holiday week.

Euclid produced notable falling snow on Christmas Day in several locations, including...

Little Rock, Ark.: Record snowiest Christmas Day (9"); snowiest single day since Jan. 6, 1988.Amarillo, Texas: Second "White Christmas" in a row; the last back-to-back White Christmases were in 1894 and 1895!Dallas-Ft. Worth: First accumulating Christmas Day snowfall (0.4") since 1975. This followed morning thunderstorms with hail.

Jonesboro, Ark.: Vehicles stranded in 2-3 foot drifts. Peak wind gust to 48 mph early Wednesday morning.Blytheville, Ark.: Vehicles in ditches on Interstate 55. Peak wind gust to 41 mph.Near Mt. Vernon, Ind.: Vehicles stuck in 3-4 foot drifts
