Damaging winds are likely across southeastern Honshu, and destructive waves and storm surge will impact Japan's southern and eastern shores.

In addition, 3 to 8 inches of rain is likely in southeastern Honshu, with isolated amounts up to a foot possible. The rain could trigger flooding and landslides.
