Tropical Storm Gamma is located near the northern coast of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. Flooding rainfall remains the greatest impact from Gamma in Mexico.Gamma could briefly interact with Tropical Storm Delta.
Tropical Storm Gamma is meandering in the southern Gulf of Mexico, where it could bring more flooding rainfall to Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula over the next few days.
Unfavorable upper-level winds, dry air and land interaction will cause Gamma to slowly weaken as it moves southwestward near or over the northern Yucatan Peninsula into Tuesday. Gamma's potential interaction with Tropical Storm Delta should then keep the system over the Yucatan, where it's forecast to dissipate soon.
