Tropical Storm Elsa has made landfall in Florida and will spread up the Eastern Seaboard through Friday.
The center of Elsa moved ashore around 11 a.m. ET Wednesday near Steinhatchee, Florida, about 75 miles southeast of Tallahassee. Elsa's maximum sustained winds at landfall were 65 mph.
Elsa will track from north Florida to New England through Friday, with a threat of flooding rainfall, gusty winds and perhaps a few tornadoes.
