NASA will hold a press conference Thursday afternoon to share new findings from ocean worlds in our solar system, the agency announced.

The event, which will be held at the James Webb Auditorium at NASA's Washington D.C. headquarters, is expected , which has been studying Saturn for more than a decade, and the Hubble Space Telescope.

While it's believed Earth has the most abundant water in the solar system, some ice-covered moons , CBC noted. This includes Saturn moon Enceladus, which has been studied extensively by Cassini and was even observed emitting water vapor into space.

But that's far from the only moon rumored to be an ocean world. Two other Saturn moons, Titan and Mimas, may also fit this description, as well as Jupiter moons Europa, Ganymede and Callisto, Neptune moon Triton , CNN.com said. We could learn more about any or all of these bodies during the Thursday conference.

The two planets closest to Earth were likely also ocean worlds, CNN.com added, but Venus lost its oceans to greenhouse gases and Mars fell victim to its own atmosphere.

"These new discoveries will help inform future ocean world exploration – including NASA’s upcoming Europa Clipper mission planned for launch in the 2020s – and the broader search for life beyond Earth," NASA said in a release.
