The bidding has started on this town with a secret.

Just about 30 minutes outside Hartford, Connecticut, you’ll find the historic village of Johnsonville.

The 62-acre space is full of homes, retail space, churches and a post office. It can can all be yours for $800,000 -- cheaper than a mega-mansion.

But before you post a bid, you should know that it has a secret.

Eccentric millionaire Ray Schmitt tried to make Johnsonville a tourist attraction during the 1960s, but he died before realizing his dream.

Rumor has it his ghost now roams the village.

If that isn’t enough to scare you away, bidding runs through Oct. 30.
