New hurricane warnings have been issued in advance of Ian's final landfall.

A​ hurricane warning has been issued for the entire coast of South Carolina, including Hilton Head Island, Charleston and Myrtle Beach. This means hurricane conditions are expected, this time within about 18 to 24 hours.

T​ropical Storm Ian is expected to become a Category 1 hurricane before its final landfall in South Carolina later Friday morning or early afternoon.

R​egardless of what it's called, impacts including strong wind gusts capable of downed trees and power outages, storm surge flooding and rainfall flooding are all in play with Ian.
