A tractor-trailer slammed into a Utah restaurant Wednesday after the driver lost control of his big rig on a snow-slicked road. Three people were injured.
Authorities said the driver of the tractor-trailer was driving too fast for conditions around 6:30 a.m. The big rig went off the state highway and struck the Los Jilbertos restaurant in the town of Wellington, about two hours southeast of Salt Lake City, the Associated Press reports.
The wife of the restaurant owner was rescued from the wreckage and was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her minor injuries. The restaurant owner and truck driver were also taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
