A tornado touched down in central Minnesota Sunday afternoon, but no major damage or injuries had been reported.
McLeod County Emergency Management Director Kevin Mathews said the tornado was spotted east of Silver Lake, Minnesota, mid-afternoon Sunday.
Mathews said storm damage was also reported near Biscay, Minnesota. He said trees and outbuildings were damaged and power lines were down.
The National Weather Service will survey the area to see if one or multiple tornadoes caused the damage in central Minnesota.
