Rain fell overnight in Brazil's largest city, killing at least 11.Four people died when a house collapsed.River flooding killed another two people.

At least 11 people, including a 1-year-old baby, have been killed by flooding brought on by heavy rainfall in and around São Paulo, Brazil.

Four people died when a house collapsed in the city of Ribeirao Pires, the São Paulo fire department said.

The department also said two people drowned because of flooding of the Tamanduatei River and another died in São Bernardo do Campo.

Other victims died in the cities of Embu das Artes, Santo Andre and São Caetano.

Heavy rain began falling Sunday night and more is expected.

São Paulo’s fire department said at least 155 trees fell in São Paulo. Several roads are blocked.
