Climber Jennifer Thorsen wanted a photo of her son's toy at the top of Quandry Peak.She hoped the image would inspire a love of the outdoors in the 4-year-old. After Grover fell out of her bag, the mom asked fellow climbers to look for the stuffed toy.
This is probably one adventure Grover wishes he could have skipped.
The lovable blue-furred muppet was along for the trip when Jennifer Thorsen , according to KCNC-TV, the CBS affiliate in Denver.
Thorsen, who lives in Illinois, told the station the Sesame Street creature is her 4-year-old son Declan's favorite stuffed animal.
"He carries that thing everywhere. And, he actually calls Grover his best friend,” she said.
