As Winter Storm Scott raced toward the east, it left behind canceled flights, road closures and numerous crashes in the Plains and Midwest.
Colorado State Police closed a 12-mile stretch of Interstate 70 west of Frisco for several hours on Saturday after , KUSA reported.
The station said the Denver Police Department reported 20 crashes in one hour Saturday night.

More than have been canceled as of of 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Kansas Department of Transportation warned that most roads in the state were covered with snow Sunday morning. It urged drivers to wait until later in the day to make trips.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said most of the roads in that state also were covered with snow.
Westbound Interstate 44, southwest of St. Louis, was closed for at least two hours at State Route 50 by a jackknifed tractor-trailer about 9 a.m. Sunday, the Missouri Department of Transportation tweeted.
A jackknifed tractor-trailer also closed Interstate 255 southbound in St. Louis at Koch Road.
