It's March. March is supposed to symbolize the beginning of spring with flowers blooming, birds chirping and people shedding winter coats in favor of light jackets.

We can't change the weather, but we can help you have a little fun during this never-ending winter. Our idea: Once the storm dies down and it's safe to venture outside, snap a "Vulcan Snowfie," then send it to us here at The Weather Channel!

In case you're wondering what on earth a"snowfie" is, it's a selfie taken outside in the snow. For this storm, kick the snowfie idea up a notch by sporting your best Vulcan salute.

Viewers from Ohio to Vermont have already submitted their Vulcan Snowfies. Want to join in the fun? Snap your #VulcanSnowfie and then send it to us via Twitter or Facebook.
