The Weather Channel named Winter Storm Triton on March 7, 2013. Triton brought a swath of snow beginning March 8 in California and continuing through March 11 in Upper Michigan. Lake-effect snow in the wake of Triton added to the totals in northern Michigan into March 12.
Top snow total: 7 inches at Bear Valley Springs, just southeast of Bakersfield.
Top snow total: 26 inches at Forest Lakes.
Official Flagstaff snow total: 12.3 inches on March 8 and 2.9 inches on March 9 for a storm total of 15.2 inches. This may seem impressive for Arizona, but for Flagstaff the 12.3 inches on the 8th is not even a top-10 single-day snowfall for the month of March, let alone the entire year.
Top snow total: 14 inches at Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort at an elevation of 9200 feet in the Mt. Charleston area.
Top snow total: 9.5 inches at Loa in central Utah.
Top snow total: Estimated 13.5 inches at Sage Creek Basin SNOTEL, 35 miles south of Rawlins, at 7850 feet elevation.

Official Denver snow total: 5.4 inches on March 9.

Ice reports: 0.01" of ice glaze from freezing rain led to a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 44 near Strafford, just east of Springfield, closing the eastbound lanes early Monday morning, March 11.

Official Rochester snow total: 8.7 inches at the Rochester Airport as of 7 a.m. CDT Monday.
