NASA's Mars rover Curiosity has managed to capture some amazing images over the past few years. Recently, several images have gone viral because some stargazers, such as members of the blog , have noticed unusual formations on the planet that appear out of the ordinary.

While the observations have caused parts of the internet to buzz, NASA scientists have insisted that these observations don't suggest anything more than unique formations on a different planet.

"There is no group that would be (happier) to see such a thing than the 500 scientists around the world who work on this Curiosity rover," Ashwin Vasavada, a scientist who works on the Mars rover project, . "So far we haven't seen anything that is so obvious that it would be similar to what these claims are."

Several images from Mars have spread across the internet and social media because they appear to feature some strange things. Do you see what others claim they see?
