Flash flood watches have been issued by the National Weather Service for portions of central and southern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico, including Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona.

A few severe thunderstorms are possible in southern Arizona on Monday as well. Damaging winds and large hail would be the primary threats from any storms that turn severe.
