River Safari is ' latest attraction in Singapore, home to 150 plant species and over 300 animal species, including 42 on the endangered list. Set over 29 acres, the park is Asia's first and only river-themed wildlife attraction and is considered the world’s largest freshwater aquarium.

The park will showcase wildlife from eight river systems of the world, including the Mekong River, Amazon River, Congo River through to the Ganges and the Mississippi.

Eleven manatees were recently moved from the Singapore Zoo to the newly completed exhibit. According to officials, it took a team of 20 zookeepers and veterinarians to move the manatees over two days.

The manatees are a part of the Amazon Flooded Forest exhibit in , which is four times bigger than the aquarium they were housed in at the Singapore Zoo.

The attraction is set to open to the public on April 3.
