PHOTOS: Winter Storm Electra Dumps Snow on Northeast, Midwest

Winter Storm Electra dumped over a half foot of snow in parts of the Midwest Friday night and Saturday morning. More snow and ice is expected throughout the weekend as the storm moves to the Northeast.

Snow will continue to fall Saturday night in the Northeast, although the storm is expected to pass offshore and into parts of Canada by Sunday evening. Some cities expected to get hit with snow include ,, ,, and .
