Japan Launches World's Smallest Satellite-Carrying Rocket

Japan’s space agency said it successfully launched the world’s smallest satellite-carrying rocket. The rocket was about the size of a utility pole, measuring around 33 feet in length and about 20 inches in diameter. It carried a microsatellite weighing about 6 and a half pounds. It will collect imagery of the Earth’s surface.
