A wildfire forced officials to evacuate hundreds of homes Monday night in Grand Junction, Colorado.No injuries were reported, but reports say some structures were burned by the Rosevale Fire.The fire was fully contained late Monday night, but evacuation orders remained in effect overnight.
Residents in a western Colorado town were ordered to leave theirhomes Monday night as a wildfire, fanned by strong winds, crept closer to their homes.
The so-called Rosevale Fire forced officials to order evacuations for dozens of homes in southwestern Grand Junction, Colorado, , according to the Grand Junction Fire Department. Less than an hour later, the evacuation zone was expanded to include more homes to the south as the blaze grew.
By 11:47 p.m. Friday night, authorities said the fire was 100 percent contained, but evacuation ordersweren't lifted until Tuesday morning. Electricity was cut to the entire evacuation area as the inferno advanced.

The fire burned an unknown number of structures, but , according to the Denver Channel. Fire crews continued to monitor the area overnightas strong winds remained present.
A totalof 363 homeswere impacted by the evacuation order. Fire officials did not say how large the fire was.
The cause of the fire, which was first reported before 7:30 p.m. Monday night, is under investigation.Grand Junction, about 35 miles from the Utahstate line, has a population of about 60,000.
