While some love the hot weather, others are freaked out by these things.

Not everyone enjoys the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer.

While many of us look forward to hot days lounging by the pool, eating watermelon and enjoying outdoor activities, there are those who have legitimate fears that come with the scorching heat.

If you're one who prefers cosying up on a cold, brisk, winter day over suffering through summer with its miseries, you know anxiety levels can rise along with the temperatures during the summer months.

Here are that people who abhor summer have surely experienced.

1. Touching a Hot Steering WheelThis is a fear probably everyone has to some degree. You leave your car in the hot, sun and as temperatures rise outside the car and even more so inside the car, touching the steering wheel can be like getting branded.

2. Having to Do a Dance to Get Across Hot Pavement or Sand in Bare FeetIt's basically like having to walk across hot coals. Add to the pain and the awkwardness of movement getting somewhere, you have to incorporate a little breathing like women in labor use. Not exactly elegant.

3. Turning Into the JokerYou know it's hot when your makeup runs faster than you and you start to look like the Joker.

4. Getting Caught in a Movie Theatre or Grocery Without an Anorak

Face it, it's freezing in there and without at least a sweater to help keep you warm, it's going to be a very long film.

5. The Not-So-Sweet Smell of Rotting Garbage In the SunYeah, simply gross.

6. The 'Monica Gellar' SyndromeWho can forget that hilarious episode of the 1990's television series 'Friends' when Monica Gellar, played by Courteney Cox, went with the gang to Barbados, only to have her hair frizz out like Bozo the Clown? It's not so funny and downright anxiety-inducing when it happens to you, right?

7. Getting Uncomfortable Wedgies and Having to AdjustShorts on Sweaty Thighs.

Enough said.

8. Exposed FeetSome people just can't bear to see exposed feet everywhere you turn. Who can blame them? And what about people that actually do have hobbit feet?

9. Anti-Perspirant Fail

Sometimes no matter how much deodorant you put on, it fails anyway, leaving you freaking out that the Body Odor will be offensive.

10. Bugs

With the warm, summer months come swarms of bugs, flies, mosquitoes, spiders ... you name it. And for many, the idea of putting bug repellent on your skin makes it a tough decision whether to spray or suffer the bites.
