Strong gale force winds commonly disrupt an otherwise fundamentally sound airplane landing, and give passengers an uncomfortable descent.

Recent footage continues to show planes having trouble landing in these intense winds — with gusts sometimes reaching 70 MPH, according to .

Fortunately, some skilled piloting helped these planes land safely, despite the intense conditions causing each aircraft to turn sideways and experience a wobbly descent.
