Slick roads create frightening moments in Russia when a baby is ejected from of a car into oncoming traffic, according to the Telegraph.
The video shows the white SUV crossing the white line, then over-correcting and losing control. An oncoming vehicle hits the back of the SUV and the impact throws the one-year-old out of the SUV into oncoming traffic.
You can see cars swerve to avoid the child before an adult can get out of the car to scoop it up.
Police reportedly told Russian media the child wasn't strapped into a car seat. Instead, it was flung "like a doll on the back shelf" of the SUV.
Despite the violent impact with the ground, the child was treated for only minor injuries.
