Nguyen Vu Phuoc, a widely known photographer in Vietnam, manages to capture the timeless beauty and traditions of the country.

The Southeast Asian country has a variety of climates depending on the region and is known for its vast rice fields. The lifestyle exhibits a feeling of serenity, with his photographs showing people working in vast rice fields and also harvesting salt.

So far, Nguyen Vu Phuoc has accumulated over 220 awards from various international competitions around the globe. Through his work, Nguyen Vu Phuoc hopes to spread the awareness of Vietnam’s rich cultural activities. But the photographer also focuses on a theme of daily life by capturing raw emotions of the people he sees, whether it be young children playing on the mountains or the elderly having a quiet moment to themselves.

The photogenic scenery in Vietnam led famed travel photographer David Lazar to work with Nguyen Vu Phuoc in developing a trip focused on capturing the beauty of the country.
