Located in eastern Peru along the country’s border with Brazil, the Sierra Del Divisor is one of the , according to Rainforest Trust, home to over 3,000 species of plants and animals including primates, jaguars and tapirs. The new national park in Peru was formed by presidential decree on November 8, 2015, after a and other nonprofit organizations to protect this vast region of virtually untouched jungle.
