Unscrew and remove the blades from your fan. Then, set them aside.
This way, they'll fit your larger housing dome.
Paint the blades. Cross-stitch fabric and fasteners with your metallic paint so they match the copper color of the chain-link sheet.
Cut your aluminum sheets into twocircumferences: one for the light fixture and one for the blades. Theresa used four pieces of sheeting for the larger circle and two for the inner circle, attaching the sheets with the copper duct tape strapping. The straps keep the sheets together and maintain their circular shape.
Place your smaller circumference inside the larger one. Then, screw the fan into its previous location and enjoy your modern, ornamental new light fixture.
