From the blistering deserts of Africa to the shimmering ice caves of Iceland, travel photographer Andre Duman opens our eyes to a vibrant world filled with brilliant colors and detailed textures.

It is safe to say Duman is world wise, as he was , raised in England and has lived in both the thriving metropolises of New York and Los Angeles, according to his website.

Looking through the stunning collection of photos, we are transported to one of the globe's most famous sites, of Namibia, Africa. German workers settled the town in the early 1900s during a diamond rush in the Namib Desert, says travel site namibian.org. The beautiful little patch of desert met its doom nearly40 years later and was lost to the harsh elements.

Duman's travels have also taken him to Iceland, home of the , where he captured a glimpse of the Northern Lights' whimsical dance across the icy heavens and a brilliant blue ice cave.

Kolmanskop and the other destinations above are just a taste of what Duman has captured in the 70 countries he's visited.

"This broad cultural perspective has served me well in my work— I’m accustomed to seeing new places with fresh eyes while learning to navigate through a new environment, language and way of life," Duman says on his website.
