Winter Storm Marcus brought a foot of snow to portions of the New York Tri-State area over the last three days, and icy roads made for a deadly commute Monday.
At least 15 vehicles collided on the New Jersey Turnpike on Monday night, leaving one dead and dozens injured.
52-year-old Darryl Williams died after becoming trapped in his car during the pileup, ABC 6 reports.

The crash, which happened just after 9 p.m. local time in Cranbury Township, was caused by a jackknifed tractor-trailer on the road, the Associated Press reported.
Accounts vary, but the collision injured up to 70 people, most with minor injuries. They were taken to various medical centers and hospitals for treatment.
Nearly 12 hours after the accident, which is still under investigation, southbound truck lanes were reopened Tuesday.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo urged caution through Tuesday as Marcus dropped ice and snow throughout the state.
In upstate New York, Marcus dumped up to 6 more inches of snow from Buffalo to the Hudson Valley.
Amsterdam, New York, saw the largest snowfall from Marcus at 14 inches. In Winsted, Connecticut, Marcus dumped 13.5 inches of snow.
