Winter Storm Marcus pummeled communities from the Northeast into New England, dumping more than 23 inches of snow on Boston's Logan International Airport.

The storm brought in Massachusetts, meaning no MBTA subways, commuter trains or trolleys will run until at least Wednesday. Gov. Baker declared a state of emergency.
Freezing rain also complicated commutes in the New York City metro area Monday morning. In parts of New England, dozens of accidents were reported as roadways became treacherous.
