Hurricane Joaquin and East Coast Flood Threat Disrupt Travel

The threat of flooding along the East coast has some transportation companies cancelling services as of Friday evening.

Amtrak announced that some train services between South Carolina and Virginia have been suspended for Saturday, October 3. The Carolinian Trains 79 & 80, The Palmetto Trains 89 & 90, The Silver Star Trains 91 & 92 and the Auto Train 52 & 53have all been cancelled. No alternate transportation will be provided. Some Thruway Bus Connections will also be cancelled.
