Hurricane Delta Makes Landfall in Mexico Ahead of Potentially Disastrous U.S. Strike

Hurricane Delta made landfall in the Yucatan Peninsula on Wednesday morning as a storm.

Delta's landfall was near Puerto Morelos, Mexico, at around 5:30 a.m. CDT and maximum sustained winds were 110 mph.

Delta is expected to track toward the U.S. Gulf Coast late this week.
