A nor'easter is likely to bring snow to parts of New England and the mid-Atlantic states just after spring officially arrives this weekend. While the snowfall swath remains uncertain at this time, the best potential for at least 6 inches of snow will be from eastern Long Island to Rhode Island, eastern Massachusetts and Downeast and northern Maine, as well as the central Appalachians.
